jaywad.com: Privacy policy

Who runs this site

jaywad.com is the personal site of Jamal Awad. Apps I publish have their own policies, listed on the policies page.

Contact form

When you send a message, the form collects your name, email, and message. They are forwarded to a private Telegram chat that only I read, so I can reply. They are not added to a mailing list, sold, or shared with anyone else.

To stop spam, the server counts form submissions per IP address for 15 minutes. That count is held in memory only and is not written to disk.

Analytics

The site may use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes data under Google’s privacy policy. You can block it with any common content blocker without losing anything on this site.

Browser storage

Your browser’s local storage keeps two small preferences: your light or dark theme choice, and whether you dismissed the “client work” notice. Neither leaves your device.

Your choices

To see, correct, or delete a message you sent me, email [email protected] and I’ll handle it.
